Hell Is Us Delays Its Nintendo Switch 2 Port a Second Time, Now Arriving October 27
Rogue Factor has delayed the Nintendo Switch 2 port of Hell Is Us for the second time in as many months, moving the release from October 8 to October 27, 2026. The developer says the new delay comes down to logistics, not technical problems, and it’s also holding back the first major content update for existing platforms so every version launches on the same day.
A Second Delay in as Many Months
Hell Is Us was originally set to arrive on Switch 2 on September 24, the same window as several other big releases that month. According to Nintendo Life, Rogue Factor pushed that date to October 8 to give the port more room to stand out on an unusually crowded release calendar. Now, with barely two weeks left before that window, the Switch 2 version has slipped again, this time to October 27.
“Logistical and Distribution Issues,” Not a Technical Problem
Rogue Factor framed the second delay as an outside issue rather than a development setback, pointing to “logistical and distribution issues that are out of our control.” The studio added that the Switch 2 build itself is finished and running well, with no bugs or performance problems holding it back, describing the wait as purely a matter of timing rather than quality.

Hell Is Us follows Rémi as he searches the war-torn region of Hadea for his missing parents.
One Update, Every Platform, Same Day
The delay isn’t limited to Nintendo’s console. Hell Is Us’ first major content update, originally due alongside the Switch 2 launch on October 8, is also moving to October 27, so PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2 players all get the new content on the same day.
From Hadea to a Million Players
Released in September 2025, Hell Is Us is an action-adventure game set in Hadea, a fictional country gripped by civil war, where players guide Rémi, an AWOL soldier searching for his parents while facing supernatural threats known as Hollow Walkers in the aftermath of an event called the Calamity. The game found a much bigger audience after joining Xbox Game Pass in July 2026 and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog that August, surpassing one million players by the end of the summer.
