Battlefield 6 Is Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 13

Battlefield 6 is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft confirmed on October 7 that EA and DICE’s shooter joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 13, the first time the newest Battlefield has been playable through a subscription on Xbox platforms. The news arrived in Xbox Wire’s regular Game Pass roundup, which also detailed eight other games joining across three separate dates this month.

Battlefield 6 Arrives With EA Play Bonuses

Starting October 13, Battlefield 6 will be available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, giving subscribers access to the all-out warfare, close-quarters combat, and tactical destruction EA has built the series around. The listing also comes with EA Play perks: EA Play members can unlock the EA Play Deployment Pack and claim the Season 5 EA Play Pack, plus recurring seasonal rewards, while Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get EA Play included automatically along with 10 percent off eligible EA digital purchases. Battlefield 6 launched in 2025 and went on to rank as the best-selling premium game of the year in the US according to industry sales trackers, so its arrival on Game Pass marks one of the subscription service’s biggest gets of the fall.

Eight More Games Fill Out October’s First Wave

Battlefield 6 isn’t arriving alone. Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, and Neon Abyss 2 went live on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 8, with Neon Abyss 2 also available on Game Pass Premium. Alongside Battlefield 6 on October 13, Deep Dish Dungeon and the Ghostrunner team’s soulslike Valor Mortis join day one on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Bluey’s Happy Snaps and the four-player co-op roguelike Chained Beasts follow on October 15, and the PC-only city builder Beyond These Stars rounds out the wave on October 16.

Several Games Are Leaving the Same Week

As usual, new additions come with departures. Microsoft confirmed that A Plague Tale: Requiem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Crime Scene Cleaner, Donut County, Evil West, Nova Roma, Pacific Drive, Superball, and The Casting of Frank Stone are all leaving Game Pass on October 15, the same day Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts arrive. Subscribers who still want to finish any of those games, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Pacific Drive in particular have picked up strong followings this year, have just over a week left to do so before they disappear from the library.
