The Terminal List Season 2 Finally Arrives This Week, and Amazon Is Dropping All Eight Episodes at Once
Nearly four years after Season 1 turned into one of Prime Video’s biggest hits, The Terminal List is finally coming back. Chris Pratt returns as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece on October 21, and Amazon is sticking with the binge release that made the show a phenomenon in 2022, dropping all eight episodes of Season 2 at once instead of rolling them out weekly.
True Believer Sends Reece on a Globe-Trotting Conspiracy
Season 2 is adapted from True Believer, author Jack Carr’s second novel in the series, and picks up with Reece searching for a new purpose after finishing the list of men responsible for his family’s deaths in Season 1. The new season expands the story from a personal revenge thriller into a globe-trotting espionage saga, following Reece through the Indian Ocean, across Africa, through the Middle East, and into Europe as he uncovers a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley, with ties into his own family’s history.

Constance Wu returns as journalist Katie Buranek for The Terminal List Season 2.
A Returning Cast Gets International Reinforcements
Joining Pratt back from Season 1 are Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry. They’re joined by an expanded international ensemble for Season 2, including Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, Martin Sensmeier, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Jeremy Bobb. The series remains executive produced by Pratt through his Indivisible Productions, alongside showrunner David DiGilio, Carr, and Antoine Fuqua, with former Navy SEAL and Army Ranger veterans continuing to advise on the show’s action and authenticity.
Pratt’s Biggest Year Yet
The Terminal List’s return caps off a massive 2026 for Pratt. He kicked off the year opposite Rebecca Ferguson in the AI sci-fi thriller Mercy, which grossed over $50 million at the box office, then returned to blockbuster territory voicing Mario in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the first film of 2026 to cross $1 billion worldwide. He’s set to close out the year alongside Linda Cardellini in the military comedy Way of the Warrior Kid in late November. Of the new season, Pratt said it’s “a love letter to the Special Operations community,” adding that the cast and crew spent years trying to honor service members who rarely get public recognition.
Season 1 holds a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and the Terminal List franchise, including prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, has drawn more than 100 million viewers worldwide to date. Season 2 premieres October 21 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
