AION 2 Ludra Guide: Normal and Hard Requirements, Rewards and How to Get Ludra’s Bracelet

AION 2’s first big raid is finally open on the global servers. With the November 4 update, NC added Abyssal Forge: Ludra, a Sanctuary for a full Force of ten players with a Normal and a Hard difficulty. This AION 2 Ludra guide explains the Item Level requirements for both modes, what you can earn, how Gear Change Vouchers turn into Ludra’s Bracelet, which Hall of Fame titles are up for grabs and how to get your character ready. It reflects the global version of AION 2 as of the patch from November 3 (PST) / November 4 (CET), 2026.

What Is Abyssal Forge: Ludra in AION 2?

Abyssal Forge: Ludra is a Sanctuary, AION 2’s raid content. NC calls Ludra “the first major challenge players will face in AION 2”. You don’t take it on with a regular five-player party: NC’s reward tables count ten Force members per clearing group, so plan for a full Force of ten.

According to the official November 4 patch notes, both difficulties come with a 1-hour time limit per run. Hard mode is aimed at top-tier players and asks for advanced character progression, mastery of the dungeon mechanics and strong cooperation within the Force.

AION 2 Ludra Requirements: Normal vs Hard

The minimum entry Item Level depends on the difficulty:

  • Abyssal Forge: Ludra (Normal): Item Level 2,800
  • Abyssal Forge: Ludra (Hard): Item Level 3,000

NC stresses that these values only get you through the door and don’t guarantee a clear. If you’re coming straight from Expedition Hard mode, which asks for Item Level 2,600, there’s still a gap to close. Our AION 2 Hard Mode guide for Krao Cave and Draupnir covers that earlier step.

The good news for players who aren’t chasing world-first clears: NC confirms that Normal difficulty offers the same types of item rewards as Hard. Only the drop rates differ between the two modes, so you can keep progressing even if your Force never clears Hard.

Every AION 2 Ludra Reward

According to the patch notes, these are the new rewards you can get from Sanctuary – Abyssal Forge: Ludra:

  • Ludra’s Weapon, Guard (Bound): Ludra’s weapons and guard.
  • Ludra’s Bracelet (Bound): the top bracelet of the update, which can be Amplified up to Level 5.
  • Abyssal Bracelet (Bound): a chance to drop on both Normal and Hard, and can be Amplified up to Level 3.
  • Sealed Abyssal Waves Wings: a new set of wings.
  • Artwork: Abyssal Ludra: a collectible artwork for completionists.

On top of the random drops, every run lets you select a Gear Change Voucher (Bound) as a guaranteed reward. On Normal, that’s a Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Bound). On Hard, it’s a Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) (Bound). You can also use Substance Morph on a Gear Change Voucher to get an Abyssal Forge: Weapon Selection Chest (Bound), which works as a safety net if the weapon you want refuses to drop.

How to Get Ludra’s Bracelet With Gear Change Vouchers

Ludra’s Bracelet doesn’t depend on luck alone. You can craft it through Substance Morph with the vouchers you pick as guaranteed rewards. NC lists these conversions:

  • 6x Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Bound) → 1x Ludra’s Bracelet (Bound)
  • 3x Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) (Bound) → 1x Ludra’s Bracelet (Bound)
  • 2x Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Bound) → 1x Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) (Bound)

In practice, a Hard voucher is worth exactly two Normal vouchers, so the two routes add up to the same bracelet. If you get one voucher per clear, that means six Normal clears or three Hard clears, and you can mix both: for example, four Normal vouchers can become two Hard vouchers, which you then combine with one Hard voucher from a Hard clear. Since the Weapon Selection Chest also comes from Gear Change Vouchers, decide early whether your vouchers go toward the bracelet or a weapon chest.

Here’s the bracelet route step by step:

  1. Clear Abyssal Forge: Ludra on Normal or Hard.
  2. Select the Gear Change Voucher as your guaranteed reward.
  3. Open Substance Morph and, if needed, turn pairs of Normal vouchers into Hard vouchers.
  4. Convert six Normal or three Hard vouchers into Ludra’s Bracelet (Bound).

Ludra Hall of Fame and Ludra Hunt Titles

Top-ranking Forces that clear Abyssal Forge: Ludra (Hard) are inducted into the in-game Hall of Fame based on their regional rankings. NC notes that duplicate entries for the same character may be removed, and so may records of characters caught engaging in prohibited activities.

On top of that, the Ludra Hunt event hands out titles in each region (Europe, NA East, NA West, South America and Asia). It runs from the November 4 maintenance until the maintenance on November 24 (PST) / November 25 (CET), 2026:

  • The First to Slay Ludra: the 10 players of the first Force to clear Hard mode.
  • Ludra’s Conqueror: the 40 players of the 2nd to 5th Forces to clear Hard mode.
  • Ludra’s Vanquisher: the 150 players of the 6th to 20th Forces to clear Hard mode.
  • Ludra’s Nemesis: everyone else who clears Ludra on Normal or Hard during the event.

The three ranked titles come with a purple decorative background, and NC will send all titles by December 2, 23:59 PST at the latest. The key detail for most players: Ludra’s Nemesis only requires a Normal clear, but it has to happen during the event window. There’s also a special red-background title, The First to Seal Ludra, for the 10 EU Force members who already cleared Ludra during the Advance Access period.

Ludra Login Rewards and Events

NC is also handing out free help for the push toward Ludra. The Ludra Conquest Check-In runs from November 4, 06:00 PST (15:00 CET) to November 17, 23:59 PST (November 18, 08:59 CET). It has seven rewards spread over 14 days, so you can miss up to seven days and still complete the track:

  • Day 1: 500,000 Bound Kina
  • Day 2: 2,000 Centuryroot Tokens (Shugo Coin)
  • Day 3: 3,000 Phantasmal Fragments (Nightmare Coin)
  • Day 4: 30,000 Abyss Points
  • Day 5: 3,000 Soul Crystals
  • Day 6: 1,000,000 Bound Kina
  • Day 7: Fresh Leaf Tiara (Helm), listed as Lush Leaf Tiara in NC’s Steam announcement

The Odyle Energy Boost, which started on October 28, also sends 4x Odyle Energy to your in-game mail every day you log in until the maintenance on November 10 (PST) / November 11 (CET), once per account per day. The mail expires seven days after you receive it, so claim it and spend it on Expeditions and Transcendence Dungeons while you gear up.

How to Prepare for Ludra

The same patch includes several changes that make the road to Item Level 2,800 and 3,000 easier:

  • Use Expedition (Exploration): Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island and Ferocious Horn Den on Exploration difficulty now give rewards that match Normal difficulty, including more Kina, Enhance Stones and Amplify Stone Fragments (Unique) (Bound). Refining Stones and crafting materials from these runs drop as Bound items and can’t be traded, and the Kina payout shrinks after 40 cumulative runs.
  • Craft gear without the risk: new recipes let you craft True Dragon and Star Dragon Gear with a 100% success rate. The catch is that these recipes never trigger a COMBO (Great Success) and the gear is always Bound.
  • Gear above the minimum: NC is clear that Item Level alone won’t carry you, so aim higher than 2,800 before your first Normal run, and well above 3,000 for Hard.
  • Build a stable Force: Ludra is designed around ten coordinated players, and the 1-hour limit punishes groups that need half the run to sort out roles.

Final Thoughts

Abyssal Forge: Ludra is AION 2’s first real raid test: Item Level 2,800 for Normal, 3,000 for Hard, a Force of ten and one hour per run. Because Normal offers the same types of rewards as Hard and every clear gives you a Gear Change Voucher, even Forces that never touch Hard can work toward Ludra’s Bracelet or a Weapon Selection Chest. Clear it at least once before the Ludra Hunt ends to secure the Ludra’s Nemesis title. For more on AION 2, read our guide on choosing between Elyos and Asmodian.

  • The difficulty setting changes the required item level significantly. In my experience, the Hard mode demands better equipment choices than the Normal mode suggests.
