The White Lotus Season 4 Gets Its First Look From HBO as Filming Wraps on the French Riviera
HBO has released the first official key art for The White Lotus Season 4, giving fans their clearest look yet at Mike White’s Emmy-winning anthology series ahead of its move to a brand new setting. After three seasons split between Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand, Season 4 is filming along the French Riviera for the first time in the show’s history, with production based in and around Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Monaco since April.
Two Real Hotels Become the Fictional White Lotus
According to a new report, the production is using two real-world luxury hotels as its Season 4 resorts. The historic Hôtel Martinez in Cannes has been redressed as the fictional “White Lotus Cannes,” complete with a redesigned version of the show’s signature lotus logo worked into the hotel’s existing Art Deco branding, while the Airelles Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez is standing in as “White Lotus du Cap.” With filming reportedly entering its final stretch, crews have been photographed dressing the Martinez’s lobby with props and signage warning staff and guests not to disturb the set.

Laura Dern, Vincent Cassel, and a Riviera-Sized Ensemble
True to form, White is assembling another stacked guest list for Season 4. Laura Dern has stepped into the cast after an earlier reported casting of Helena Bonham Carter didn’t move forward, joining Steve Coogan, Vincent Cassel, Chris Messina, Sandra Bernhard, Alexander Ludwig, and Ari Graynor, among others. It’s a continuation of a pattern the show has followed since Season 1 introduced Sydney Sweeney and Jennifer Coolidge, who returned for Season 2 alongside Aubrey Plaza and Theo James, before Season 3 brought in Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Coon, and Parker Posey.
The White Lotus Season 4 doesn’t have an exact release date yet. HBO programming chief Casey Bloys said at this year’s Emmys that new episodes are on track to arrive in “the first half of 2027” on HBO Max.
