Yellowjackets Final Season Trailer Brings the Survivors Home Ahead of a November 20 Premiere
Paramount+ has released the official trailer for Yellowjackets’ fourth and final season, confirming that the survivors’ return to civilization will finally play out when the show premieres Friday, November 20, exclusively with the Premium Plan. The new trailer arrives alongside an earlier teaser built around the show’s wasp imagery, and together the two clips set up a season built as much around homecoming as around the wilderness the girls are leaving behind.
A Homecoming That Doesn’t Feel Like One
According to the season’s official synopsis, the surviving Yellowjackets have to bury their secrets before rescue arrives, only for the wilderness to have its own ideas about who actually gets out alive. Back in their hometown of Wiskayok, those secrets keep festering under the weight of what the group did and who its members became, while in the present day timeline two of the Yellowjackets reportedly prepare to kill one of their own as an old flame returns to town with plans of their own. As the trailer’s own tagline puts it, “this homecoming is going to sting.”
Who Returns for the Final Season
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, and Hilary Swank lead the adult cast, with Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, and Jenna Burgess reprising their roles as the younger Yellowjackets. June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun, and Dulé Hill round out the season’s guest cast. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who created the series, remain showrunners for its final run.

An earlier teaser leaned on Yellowjackets’ recurring wasp imagery to set up the show’s final season.
All three previous seasons of Yellowjackets are already streaming on Paramount+, which gives newcomers time to catch up on the group’s history before the girls’ secrets catch up with them one last time on November 20.
