Valorant Hush Abilities Explained: Every Skill of the New Telekinetic Duelist

Riot Games is about to shake up the Duelist role in Valorant. Hush, the telekinetic Agent from Guangdong, China, joins the roster on October 27 in the Americas and on October 28 in all other regions, and her full kit is already official. Instead of simply throwing utility, Hush steers it through the air, pulls enemies into walls and even lifts entire groups of players off the ground.

Who Is Hush?

Riot revealed Hush on October 18 with the cinematic RISE AND FALL trailer, shown right after the opening ceremony of the Valorant Champions 2026 Grand Final in Shanghai between LOUD and Team Vitality. The trailer is set to the original song “It’s You” by Karencici, and it followed a short FINAL WORD teaser that Riot had dropped a few days earlier.

Still from the official Valorant FINAL WORD new agent teaser

Riot teased Hush with the short FINAL WORD clip before her full reveal in Shanghai.

Hush is canonically Agent 31, but since Agent 8 still doesn’t exist in the game, she is the 30th playable Agent. She is also the ninth Duelist, joining Jett, Phoenix, Raze, Reyna, Yoru, Neon, Iso and Waylay, and the second new Agent of 2026 after the Controller Miks. On top of that, she is the first Agent to launch alongside Valorant’s new Agent Mastery system.

All Hush Abilities in Valorant

Hush’s kit is built around one idea: utility that you keep controlling after it leaves your hand. Three of her abilities can be redirected toward your crosshair while they are in the air, while Flow applies the same telekinesis to her own body.

  • Telekinesis (Passive): Hush can pick up weapons and the Spike and interact with map switches from an increased range. Grabbing a dropped rifle or the Spike without stepping into a crossfire is a big deal on eco rounds and in post-plant situations.
  • Flow: Flow instantly places an anchor in space. After a short delay, Hush is propelled toward it. If she casts it while airborne, she briefly hovers in place before the pull, which opens up unusual angles and can throw off enemy crosshair placement.
  • Flashbulb: A throwable flash that Hush can either throw immediately or prepare first. Once it is airborne, reactivating it sends it toward her crosshair, letting her curve a flash around corners. It blinds every player who looks at it when it goes off.
  • Displacement (Signature): Displacement uses the same throw, prepare and redirect controls. On impact or after a delay, it explodes and pulls nearby players toward its center. Anyone who slams into a surface or another player during the pull is concussed. The ability refreshes every two kills.
  • Suspension (Ultimate): Hush instantly readies a projectile and sends it forward, steering it with her crosshair. Reactivating it or pressing fire again detonates the orb and levitates all players inside its radius, leaving them exposed to follow-up shots.

Exact ability costs and the number of ultimate points Suspension needs will be confirmed with the official patch notes for her launch.

How Strong Could Hush Be?

On paper, Displacement is the standout. Pulling a stacked site toward a wall practically guarantees concussions, and the refresh on two kills means a good entry can snowball. Suspension looks like a pure round winner in post-plant scenarios, since a steerable orb sent onto the Spike can lift anyone trying to defuse into the air. Just keep in mind that the ultimate affects all players in its radius, so teammates should stay clear.

The trade-off is her skill ceiling. Redirecting projectiles mid-flight requires precise crosshair work, which makes Hush feel more like a playmaker than a straightforward entry Duelist such as Neon or Jett. At Gamersuniverse, we expect a rough first week in ranked, followed by some very creative highlights once players figure out her redirects.
